Welcome to MangalamPay. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

1. Service Description

MangalamPay is a digital platform that helps users manage gift collections for occasions such as weddings, birthdays, housewarmings, and other celebrations. We provide tools to create occasion records, generate UPI QR codes, track contributors, and export reports.

2. Account Registration

  • You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
  • You must provide accurate, complete, and current information.
  • You are responsible for safeguarding your password and account credentials.
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account.

3. Service Plans and Fees

MangalamPay offers the following plans:

  • Basic: Rs. 100 per occasion (up to 200 contributors)
  • Pro: Rs. 249 per occasion (up to 1,500 contributors)
  • Plus: Rs. 499 per occasion (up to 5,000 contributors)
  • Gala: Rs. 999 per occasion (up to 10,000 contributors)
  • Institutional: Rs. 1599 per month (unlimited contributors)

Per-occasion plans are valid for 10 days from the date of activation. After expiry, the QR code is disabled but you retain access to your historical data.

4. Payment Processing

All payments are processed through Razorpay, a secure third-party payment gateway. By making a payment, you also agree to Razorpay's terms and conditions. We do not store your card or banking information.

5. UPI QR Code & Contributions

The UPI QR code generated for each occasion uses your personal UPI ID. All contributions made by guests through this QR code go directly to your UPI account. MangalamPay does not handle, hold, or process contributor funds.

6. User Responsibilities

  • Do not use the service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
  • Do not collect or upload data without proper consent from contributors.
  • Do not misuse, hack, or attempt to breach the security of the platform.
  • Do not impersonate others or provide false information.
  • You are responsible for the accuracy of all data you enter.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, logos, and software on MangalamPay are owned by us. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the platform without written permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

MangalamPay is provided "as is" without any warranties. We are not liable for:

  • Loss of data due to user error or technical failures
  • Disputes between you and your contributors
  • UPI transaction failures (these are between you and your bank)
  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

9. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or misuse the platform. You may delete your account at any time from the profile settings.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes implies acceptance of the revised terms.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
