Refund & Cancellation Policy

This Refund and Cancellation Policy applies to all activation fees paid through MangalamPay.
1. Activation Fee Refunds
Activation fees paid for occasion plans (Basic, Pro, Plus, Gala, Institutional) are non-refundable once the occasion has been activated and the QR code has been generated, as the digital service has already been delivered.
2. Eligible Refund Scenarios
You may be eligible for a refund only in the following cases:
- Duplicate Payment: If you were charged twice for the same occasion due to a technical error.
- Failed Activation: If the payment was successful but the occasion was not activated due to a system error on our end.
- Service Unavailability: If our platform is unable to deliver the promised service due to a verified outage.
3. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, send an email to mangalampay@gmail.com within 7 days of the payment with:
- Your registered email and username
- Razorpay payment ID or transaction reference
- Reason for the refund request
- Screenshots or supporting evidence (if applicable)
4. Refund Processing Time
Approved refunds will be processed within 7 to 10 business days through the original payment method. Bank processing times may add an additional 3-5 business days for the funds to reflect in your account.
5. Cancellation
You may cancel an occasion at any time from the dashboard. However:
- Cancellation does not entitle you to a refund of activation fees.
- Once cancelled, the QR code will be disabled and contributors cannot make further payments.
- You retain access to existing contribution records.
6. Account Deletion
You can delete your account at any time. Account deletion is irreversible and does not include any refund of past activation fees.
7. Disputes Between Users and Contributors
MangalamPay is a record-keeping and QR code generation platform. We are not party to any UPI transactions between you and your contributors. Refund or dispute claims regarding contributor payments must be resolved between the parties involved or through your bank.
8. Chargebacks
If you initiate a chargeback through your bank instead of contacting us first, your account may be suspended pending investigation.
